About Me

A Journey of Compassion & Understanding

Beyond the Couch.

My approach goes beyond one-size-fits-all methods. I help people build healthier habits by blending scientific understanding with compassionate, personalized care.

My name is Isha, and my career is built on a single, unifying principle: understanding people. Whether in a therapy session or a product development meeting, the goal is the same: to solve a problem with empathy, rigor, and a human-centered approach.

A Holistic Understanding of You.

I approach therapy with an eclectic lens: biopsychosocial, relational, cultural, systemic, and across the lifespan. I am trauma-informed and queer-affirmative, with more than 9 years of clinical and research experience. My diverse training allows me to tailor therapy to your unique needs, ensuring care that is both personal and effective.

My Journey to Inner Spring

When I was 15, I had to narrow the subjects I would choose to study the following year. Here’s a glimpse into my decision making process back then ….

Physics – too many numbers!

Geography – too many names!

History – too many dates!

Biology – too many terms!

…. well, you get the drift.

At that point, I didn’t know that psychology as a formal field of education existed. And when I discovered it, it was an instant connection (better than any dating app!).

Spoiler alert – psychology is an extremely multidisciplinary subject. I mean it deals with human beings, so of course it encompasses EVERYTHING! So yes – I had to confront many, many …. many …. numbers, names, dates, terms and much more. And it’s been an exciting, scary and wonderful journey so far!

15 year old me dreamed of being able to work with individuals 1:1. Make a teeny impact in their universe. Today, I run Inner Spring, trying to do just that. Yay! The opportunity to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for individuals to explore their humanness has been incredibly fulfilling.

Due Diligence Check.

It’s important to choose a psychologist who is trained and qualified to support you.

Here’s a bit about my background: I hold a Master’s in Clinical Psychology (Christ University) and a Master of Research in Developmental Neuroscience and Psychopathology (University College London & Yale University). I continued my journey at Yale, focusing on substance use research and policy. For a deeper dive into my academic and professional experience, feel free to visit my LinkedIn.

Outside of Therapy, I …

am forever evolving and exploring.

I am the daughter of a language instructor and creatives connoisseur. ⇒ I engaged in ‘Just a minute or JAM’ exercises since I could talk. I leverage the power of expression to think, to feel. I amalgamate the sciences and arts.
I love animals. I love nature. If I wasn’t a psychologist, I’d be a panda zookeeper.
