About Me
A Journey of Compassion & Understanding
Beyond the Couch.
My approach goes beyond one-size-fits-all methods. I help people build healthier habits by blending scientific understanding with compassionate, personalized care.
My name is Isha, and my career is built on a single, unifying principle: understanding people. Whether in a therapy session or a product development meeting, the goal is the same: to solve a problem with empathy, rigor, and a human-centered approach.

															A Holistic Understanding of You.
I approach therapy with an eclectic lens: biopsychosocial, relational, cultural, systemic, and across the lifespan. I am trauma-informed and queer-affirmative, with more than 9 years of clinical and research experience. My diverse training allows me to tailor therapy to your unique needs, ensuring care that is both personal and effective.

Feel better with every session. Makes me feel light. Of course yes, I would recommend her. Because of her approach, the way she makes one feel comfortable, without being judgmental.

It has been good & profound. Isha wasn't rigid or prescriptive. I would refer her because of her holistic & collaborative approach.

It has been really helpful working with you [Isha] as my therapist. Your communication skills with teenagers is great.

Isha always listened to me and then picked small things to work on instead of the broader topic. And remembered my concerns in the next session. She knows what she's doing and I trust her with it.

My experience with Isha has been great. The sessions have provided me with an opportunity to understand myself better - going back to all my experiences and identifying my issues, empathizing with myself and learning to validate myself as the person I am. All these experiences have helped me draw control and power back to me than allowing anything and everything to affect me.

I met Isha in one of the lowest points of my life, when I was vulnerable and felt helpless. With constant support, holding space for my vulnerabilities, Isha has been there always! I feel extremely grateful to have found the therapist to cater to my changing needs specifically when my experience with previous therapists wasn’t something that aligned with my needs. I always look forward to our sessions and feel encouraged to look within myself and explore my experiences while knowing I can seek support.

Listening to the client is one of the best qualities of Isha and that is why I have stuck with her.

I like the way Isha has changed my direction of thoughts by asking the right questions. I have sought help over messages (apart from our regular sessions) and I appreciate that she takes the time out to reply to those messages diligently. It assures me that there is an alternate support system in my time of need.

Therapy with Isha is actually quite wonderful. I’m able to explore my feelings and process them at my own pace. I don’t feel in a hurry while doing so and that is helping me a lot.

My experience has been positive - you [Isha] offer a keen listening ear and ensure that every session has certain important take-aways. Isha balances empathic listening and problem solving or skill building well.

Isha was great. I am able to communicate freely. She was so friendly that I was able to say everything that concerns me. My panic attacks stopped. I was able to approach my problems in a better way and sort it out.

I am so grateful for all the sessions. I keep getting a lot of clarity around the why of my behaviour and what I need to do. I liked how comfortable I was and that made me more open to have conversations, which earlier I wouldn't have had with anyone. The fear of being judged was never there. In any of our sessions I was never hesitant to express what I feel or what should i say, cause Isha made me feel very confident.

Isha is the best. She helps me gain more perspective and that helps immensely. I also appreciate the extremely broken down steps she gives during sessions. I'm much better at drawing boundaries, able to manage/handle my attacks much better. I have a lot more clarity and perspective.

My experience working with Isha as my therapist has been wonderful. I feel heard during the therapy sessions. Isha has created a safe space for me to talk about anything without bringing any judgements. She guides me to seek the solutions to my problems myself, instead of giving her opinion or advice. I'm confident that by the end of this journey I will be able to manage my problems independently. And that's what an ideal therapy session look like. Im extremely happy that I found her as my therapist 🙂 Considering that this was my first therapy experience, it has been very hassle-free. Every logistical aspect of online therapy was explained to me very efficiently including filling out the pre-requisite forms, understanding the payment structure, booking appointments, cancellation and refunds, feedback, etc.

I deeply appreciate Isha's kindness and the way she has provided a safe and non-judgmental space throughout our sessions. Her support has allowed me to feel truly heard, making it significantly easier for me to comprehend and effectively navigate my emotions.

It has been great so far..Talking to Isha has really helped me find some perspective in all the chaos that is there around me.

I think what worked was Isha asked relevant questions so that I understand myself better. It helped me regulate my emotions and anxiety.

It was very comfortable and safe and worked. In moments when I needed true guidance I got it. Isha provided a non-biased opinion and approached with a mix of care and professionalism.

Good thing I liked is that Isha was available for me after sessions also. In case of any doubts, she helped me and answered my messages. She is approachable.

Isha is awesome. I liked her logical and first principled explanations of everything. My mental models improved a lot.

Got directions and unpacking deeper feelings. Isha provided clear statements towards the end of each session.

The experience has been excellent! Isha did not judge me. She was patient. She has a calming approach.

It has been very effective. Through our sessions Isha has helped me create a toolkit of sorts for myself that I can leverage to make sense of some of my recurrent feelings which has given me relief, hope and confidence to approach different aspects of my life.

Isha never ignored any issue or minute detail I mentioned and always kept some time to discuss my week and then come to the topic of discussion for the session. I also liked how she gave me freedom to choose what I want to talk about and how.

Isha was able to hold a lot of space for the experiences I brought into the support group sessions and tailored the session as per the group's need focusing on individual challenges with trauma and ptsd.

It has been really good. I feel heard and Isha's detailed-explanations make it very easy for me to process my feelings and understand my issues.

Given that it was my first experience in such a setting, the process was particularly helpful in guiding me on how to approach and articulate key areas of concern. It allowed me to reflect and express myself in a way that felt structured and supported, which I hadn’t done before.

Isha made me feel comfortable, made references to people in my life and helped narrow down my problems. Even otherwise, I really enjoyed talking to her. I have greater self confidence and clarity in what I seek from my personal relationships.

I like that Isha lets me do the talking and helps me figure out things on my own and I’ve been able to open up to her which is a rare thing for me.
My Journey to Inner Spring
When I was 15, I had to narrow the subjects I would choose to study the following year. Here’s a glimpse into my decision making process back then ….
Physics – too many numbers!
Geography – too many names!
History – too many dates!
Biology – too many terms!
…. well, you get the drift.
At that point, I didn’t know that psychology as a formal field of education existed. And when I discovered it, it was an instant connection (better than any dating app!).
Spoiler alert – psychology is an extremely multidisciplinary subject. I mean it deals with human beings, so of course it encompasses EVERYTHING! So yes – I had to confront many, many …. many …. numbers, names, dates, terms and much more. And it’s been an exciting, scary and wonderful journey so far!
15 year old me dreamed of being able to work with individuals 1:1. Make a teeny impact in their universe. Today, I run Inner Spring, trying to do just that. Yay! The opportunity to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for individuals to explore their humanness has been incredibly fulfilling.
